BBC Radio 4 Interview. In 2020 BBC Radio 4 approached me (out of the blue) to do an interview. After multiple mobile phone conversations, we worked up a schedule in and around Covid19 restrictions. The 30-minute program on UWNR was broadcast very early in 2021. It gives a decent account of what the project aims to achieve and describes core activities.

Planted Unearthed interview. Sam Peters is the brilliant and dedicated co-founder of this start-up (Planted Cities). It focuses on how good design can be part of the solution, in the face our ecological crisis. Love what they are embarking on. I was interviewed in 2021.

The Beautiful Truth are an amazing London based film company and consultancy. They have had a long association with UWNR. Love what they do! In 2022 they wrote this piece about rewilding. UWNR features.

Rewilding Britian webinars. I did two webinars in 2022 with the help of Rewilding Britain. Please check them out and if you can, please donate to them - this is a hugely important charity. The first webinar is about how to run a small (under 50 acres) rewilding project. So, lots of how-to practical stuff based on what I have done, what I have read and what I have learnt at UWNR.

Rewilding Britian webinars. The second webinar done in 2022 features the ground-breaking research done by Harry James. It focuses on the conservation hedge laying we do at UWNR.

Planted panel talk. In spring 2022 I was part of a panel talk at a Planted event at Stourhead (Wiltshire). The topic was nature writing and despsite the rain we had an engaged, lively and wide-ranging talk. Sam Peters hosted this….

The Beautiful Truth. In 2021, the wonderful people from The Beautiful Truth came to UWNR and made a film about me and what led me to rewild the land at Underhill. The film got its first virtual public screening in the autumn of 2022. After the screening, there was a panel discussion with me, Sara King from Rewilding Britain and Ivan de Klee from Natergal.

Please note there is a 4 / 5 min delay before the film starts…scroll forward if you wish.

Rewilding the World podcast with Ben Goldsmith. In the spring of 2024 Ben Goldsmith invited me to contribute to one of his podcasts - a huge privilege. And an opportunity to fly the flag for small scale rewilding!
