Rewilding Workshops.

OPTION 1:

‘How to rewild 1 - 50 acres’ workshop at UWNR.

They are run at Underhill Wood Nature Reserve (UWNR) over the course of a single day.

What do I cover in the workshop;

  1. Introductions; covering things like, state of land at UWNR when we bought it, what aims were established at the outset and what successes have been achieved.

  2. Rewilding; what is it and how are these processes applied at UWNR.

  3. High impact habitats; what these are and how these are managed at UWNR. We walk the land & dive deeper into these habitats, understanding how are they created, maintained and enhanced.

  4. You and your land; given what we have covered, what ideas might you incorporate into your project.

If you wish to attend a workshop, please email me and I will put you on the list….

The manual serves as the text to these events.

OPTION 2:

Alternatively, if you are unable to make a workshop at UWNR this webinar, which I did in conjunction with Rewilding Britain, serves as a virtual workshop. It provides lots of good tips and ideas and covers the following agenda:

  1. Introduction to UWNR and how I rewild the land.

  2. Lake & marsh - how this is at the heart of the rewidling project at UWNR.

  3. Pasture – how this is managed and results of this management.

  4. Stream – subtle changes we have made and the impact of these.

  5. Hedges –  why they are so critical, how they are managed and results we achieve.

  6. Built structures as proxies.

  7. Woodland – how this has been manipulated over the past 8 years.

I have time indexed these, so you can skip to habitats of greatest interest to you.
